i tired canine toothpaste and tooth brush but it dont take. i use rubber finger brush.. still it dont take. i use towel.. still it dont take. i will have to put on great force to put the dog down before i could do a quick brush for it own good. what a headach..

Great Info! We should never use human tooth paste cuz' dogs don't like the foam and the minty taste. Always get special canine toothpaste or we can also use salt and water... Thx for postin

my dog has gingivitis..he and sister got it both but my aunt got her her teeth fixed. We took my dog to get his teeth clean and they were clean for about two weeks or so after that that gingivitis came back. I just dont get it.

@hapibth0pel3ss They should still be clean 2 weeks later. As for gingivitis, your veterinarian should have a maintenance plan for home care. If you are not comfortable with your veterinarian, you may call a specialty hospital in your area that has a board certified dentist.
