@paytontech Safety is written all over this thing. Structurally superior, our 2 meter has excellent flight characteristics. T hangers present a space issue but folding wings circumvent that. Be sure to see end of video at Aerobat..com Aerobat video 002 You will see how the wings detach, that's your hinge line. Price is unknown, efficiency may be circumvented by aircraft weight. Our RC pilot, Mark Murdock claims the flight characteristics are outstanding, he also is a fullscale pilot.

@merlin5520355 What I meant by comparing to the (cesna)152 is the size, flight characteristics, and price. It would be really neat to have an aircraft design that's not very wide (easier ground handling, storage, trailering, etc.). It would be even nicer if that narrow aircraft was efficient, easy to fly, and safer than a stanard fuse/wing/stab setup...

@paytontech Apparently you see what most others don't. Geobat is considered the Piper Cub compared to later experiments. I've purposely not exposed this due to future patent issues. See Aerobat...com for the new investors. A new 2 meter Carbon Carbon model is now being developed. The ramifications of this design are starting to unfold. 152 comparison? This issue is puzzling, the engineers make this same comparison, L over D is not as efficient but with a nose up attitude.....WOW+stability=?

@merlin5520355 Flying tails on this would be crazy for the pilot. Talk about G LOC. If he could stand it, he'd have an easy time shaking a chaser.
Cool design. Wouldn't hurt to talk with a kit plane builder or giant scale R/C builder. That looks like a great design for a sport plane, just curious how it would scale up compared to a good 'ol 152 or the like.

Do you study advanced propulsion?

This is AMAZING!! I love anything aviation and space and when my friend said she met the inventor I was excited to take a look.. Beautiful.. I hope it becomes available as a personal vehicle ;-)

I concur. If built to the A10 redundancy specs, this thing would be very difficult to bring down. Years of model testing-crashing exhibit a robust structure and that's balsa construction. I once experienced a midair collision, dead center head on, the other plane disintegrated, I just glided down with a big chunk of the forward wing missing. i also foresee the rear wing being fully articulated in sections, no hinge lines, similar to the big military jets resulting in extremely tight turns.

@merlin5520355 I originally thought your plane would be a great dog fighter, but now I'm thinking it wold be a great replacement for the A10 thunderbolt 2 ground attack plane. Imagine that thing flipping over and taking a second run on a tank column and how hard it would be to hit it with AA guns! If dog fighters think they have high G forces Imagine what that thing could put on a pilot while dodging flak. I believe the round shape would be more stable then the A10 concerning heavy damage.
I have to agree that this design is simply incredible in terms of aerodynamics! Built a model myself and I have to say it is the BEST air frame by far that I have ever had the pleasure of flying in R/C.

@Johnellenberger1 Thanks for feedback. So glad you like it. If you're interested see Aerobataviation....com They are now developing Geobat for UAV missions and possible full scale. Stay tuned!
