Visit http://www.wildnet.org/ to learn more about these animal heroes. One in four mammals are at risk for extinction. This Thanksgiving we give thanks for the animals and all of the hard working people who have dedicated their lives to saving endangered species. Last October we traveled to the Wildlife Conservation Expo in San Francisco to interview Rebecca Klein from Cheetah Conservation Botswana, Dr. Rodney Jackson from Snow Leopard Conservation, Dr. Iain Douglas-Hamilton from Save the Elephants, Megan Parker from Working Dogs for Conservation, Greg Rasmussen from Painted Dogs Conservation and our friend Dr. Laurie Marker from the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

  • sometimes it's the cats who adopt you who turn out to be the best pets.

  • you can find animal groups at wildnet(dot)org who need our help. you can also start a roots and shoots group.

  • You did an excellent job on this video! People need to be made aware of these staggering numbers so we can all make the changes necessary to save the animals and our planet.

  • thank you so much for watching and supporting this video! I just met Jane Goodall and many other animal heros at a wildlife expo last weekend and the animals really need our help.
