@cagerattler2004 to let the user know that they started the camera to record without taking it out, in case he's spying, though the sound of the vibration might also give it away.

so the remote controls recording? start stop recording or just power?

i have used this for surveillance . . .its important to know when the unit starts/stops . . remember you will not be about to see the unit when in cobalt surveillance
