"The Fifth" - A Dark, Comedic Short Film

Four friends try to find a fifth player for their weekly poker game.

This short film was made into the 2011 feature film, "Some Guy Who Kills People," executive produced by John Landis.




The Fifth played over 60 film festivals worldwide, earning a myriad of awards along the way, including Fantasia Fest's Audience Award for Best Short Film, Dead by Dawn's Best Short Film, DragonCon's Best Comedy, Fantastic Fest's Best Short Film Screenplay & Best Short Film Actor. In addition, the film was chosen as part of the Just For Laughs "Best of Comedia" Film Event.

I liked it. I mean come on, it's your day job. You should be allowed to de-stress and relax with friends. Oh, and I hear vinegar and lemon juice gets blood out of clothes. Saves money on having to buy new towels, linen, etc.
