@RPFS2008 The bible didn't promote slavery-it made provision in the midst of man enslaving. Likewise, it didn't promote genocide-it revealed God's justice towards a sinful, rebellious people. And stoning was that day's capital punishment, showing the wages of sin. The Old Testament was a type and shadow pointing to our need of a Savior, a mediator. Jesus took God's wrath upon Himself so that we MIGHT be rescued from what the OT people received and more in just response to our sin.
