Gamma Live at the Old Waldorf - 1980ish

I have this entire concert on audio cassette. If I have time I will upload the rest. It kind of sucks that I have to upload only 10 minute clips at a time.

Gamma was unbeatable back then. Ronnie Montrose was on fire. Davey Patteson was awesome and Denny Carmassi on drums was awesome. I believe it was Glen Letsch on bass at the time.

This recording was made off the radio. I really wanted to go to this concert. I forgot why I was not there. bummer

I've been pointed out to a mistake in the graphic. As this was Gamma 2 tour, the year had to be 1980, 81 or 82

Are you sure this was '84? Denny Carmassi was already in Heart by then as Gamma had been defunct since shortly after the release of Gamma 3. Just curious!

it's totally possible that the date is wrong. I had a note when I posted this, I'm pretty sure it was Gamma 2 tour. Sadly, I wasn't there. I was home recording it LOL

I was at this show too! What a rockin' good time. Saw some great bands at the Old Waldorf. Used to work at Malibu Grand Prix, and KSAN gave us free tix and a drink tab. Saw some great Soft White Underbelly (BOC) and Gamma, all kinds of great rock. Brings back some great memories!
