Cool.
You played really amazing. I wish I could be that good...but that'll be in a few years or so.
Ever play a piece called Amparito Roca? Our band played it a few months ago, the clarinet solo part sounds really cool.

What kind of clarinet and mouthpiece are you using? I'm using a Buffet E-11 with a Gigliotti P-34 mouthpiece and size 3 1/2 reeds.

It's kind of a hybrid clarinet. It started out as a Yamaha 72cx. The mouthpiece is a modified Vandoren B-45 (my old teacher, the late British master John Denman, increased the internal bore diameter of the bottom 3/4 inch or so - don't try this at home). The barrel is by Guy Chadash and the bell is tulipwood, by Morrie Backun.

Thanks! I just noticed that I butchered your name. It should be thanks to MICHAEL Drapkin! D'oh!
