  • Dvorak music is simply sentimental and extraordinary rich in pretty melodies, in this quartet he shows a good part of his Czech soul, mixed with some melodies from the country where he was staying when he composed this chamber work, USA

  • Thanks to strathconastring4 for adding the 3rd movement to YouTube's repetoire; the work can now be heard in its entirety, albeit piecemeal. The American Quartet is an amazingly compact, but eloquent composition.

  • 3st.....lol

  • Viola make it count come on!!!! I CANT HEAR YOU!!!! :)

  • @Forest1227 I was just going to write that! Violas gotta come out BIG TIME!! We gotta represent!!

  • The first violin is rather harsh and too loud. The cello should be brought forward a little more.

  • the octaves at 315 made me cringe but othr than that it was a good performance

  • I am not sure what you mean. The video is still here! Try again.

  • Why was this removed? I was listening to all of your movements... :(

  • Music and Dvorak are wonderful! I want to play this. <3
