The reason he isn't mentioned that much is because he was a far below average defender. The guys you've mentioned all played (play) defense. (Granted, think Kobe is a completely overrated defender..but that's another argument for another day).

Pete Maravich was arguably the greatest offensive player ever; right there with Michael Jordan. What separates the 2, is that Michael Jordan is considered by many to be one of the top 5 defenders of all time. Pete Maravich? ehh...not so much..lol

I actually think Reddick could be a contributer in the pros if he got with a team and a COACH that was willing to use him. Stan Van Gundy just really seems to hate JJ Reddick. haha. I've seen him play really well before, but Van Gundy never seems to want to play him. and yeah, Morrison is just not capable of doing anything at the professional level. He just looks WAY too slow and unsure.

Ricky Rubio wishes he could be a Nash or Kidd type player.

the reason that morrison and reddick suck in the nba is because they try to be athletic but there white, rite now reddick realized that he cant do anything else but shoot so thats all he does but morrison trys to be athletic and he sucks at it

Why does race have to be the issue? It has nothing to do with them being white. they problem is that Morrison can't create for himself at the pro level, and I feel like Reddick's main problem is that Stan Van Gundy must really hate him. haha. I've seen Reddick go off for 9 straight points in the NBA, but Van Gundy never plays him. I think given the right situation, Reddick could be a solid contributer in the pros.

Race is an issue because anyone who can't say that white players, in general, are not as athletic as African American players is simply burying their head in the sand in the name of political correctness.

And this comes from an old white guy who isn't afraid to admit that there is a difference.

That's not what he was saying though .He was saying that Morrison sucks because he tries to be athletic but he's white. So, he can't be athletic because he's white? Tom Chambers was one of the most athletic players to play in his era, and he was white.
Morrison "sucks" because he doesn't have the talent to succeed in the NBA. If he were as athletic as J.R. Smith, he still wouldn't be a good player.
