Why we won the Vietnam War was discussed at Charlie Company's 2010 Reunion in Ls Vegas on May 21st. Several speakers addressed the subject and I believe their perspectives should be acknowledged by all Vietnam Veterans.

After the war, one of the top north vietnamese generals said they would had giving up if not for anti-war protesters. Fuck the media, politicians and protesters for losing the war. American soliders did a great job

It was the damn media and all tht damn propaganda tht turned our own ppl against us. Although I may be young, I know what kind of shit the media pulled, and all the lies the vietcongs made about our troops. Our boys did one helluva job in Vietnam. Anyone tht says otherwise can go shove it.

during the Seven Years War (Am - French and Indian War). Initially the French agreed to support by providing arms and it progressed from there.

The influences of French involvement in the American Revolutionary War? Ha, well French fries maybe? No. The French really had more of an influence earlier and later in American/French history.

The French Navy under de Grasse, defeated the British navy at the Battle of the Chesapeake and provided support to the siege at Yorktown.France got involved because the Americans needed an ally and France wanted to regain some of what was lost

At the Siege of Yorktown the French provide men, which added to the American force, overwhelmed the British and kept them besieged, mostly. The French also provided siege instruments of which the Americans lacked.

they said we cant help you get freedom Britain is our Allie so we were sent back empty handed the best we got might have been a few guns but i think that not true. america went to France and the french said sure we'll help you and teach you how to fight we kept on the war and in the end a truce was made which gave us equal rights and a new title for the country which led to becoming a republic. america and france won the war.

look at how both our countries got Independence we fought a country that was only a few hours away america fought them but when they were months away which kept them from sending help straight away we were poorer back then america had money in there war we fought a country much bigger than ours you fought a country that was allot smaller we sent political leader who was american-irish to get america to help after all they would help they went through the same thing. but they said no

@CharlieCo4th47th oil america only went into those countries for the oil they said Hussein had weapons of mast destruction but that was proven false when the un search the entire place.
