In this video, leading heart surgeon from India talks about his education and experience. Basically educated from Lucknow, he went to UK for further studies.

He is adept in handling all kind of adult cardiac surgeries such as coronary bypass surgery, bypass grafting, valve repair, valve replacement, and combined procedures. Not only this, he is expert in aortic surgery -- aortic repair in which valve is repaired and aortic valve replacement in which valve is replaced with an alternative one. There might be many reason for replacement of valve, but most of times, it is changed to the leakage of valve.

He tells why he got interested in this particular type of surgery. In vascular surgery, he handles cases of aortobifemoral grafts, femoropopliteal grafts and various kinds of peripheral bypasses.

Most Indian cardiac hospitals are laced with modern technologies and state of art infrastructure. Many old techniques are upgraded. This surgeon is one of the pioneers who started working on Transmyocardial laser revascularization, but due to its low result, it was stopped.
Minimally invasive heart surgery, including beating heart surgery is his forte. In beating heart surgery, doctors performed without taking the help of heart lung machine. This is quite safe procedure as there is less chance of infection.
