Perfect performance! Deep feeling...

this is like perfect to me

@Meg1991love I've heard it both ways. I usually way 'intermezzi', but a more Anglicised way is 'intermezzos'. I think it's more correct to say intermezzi, though.

always when i hear this i want to be a pianist and not a cellist !! love this!!!

@SordidGuy The quality of streaming is bad, only 240p.
-
I always thougt the plural of 'Intermezzo' was 'Intermezzi' o_O

A truly underrated Brahms Piano Piece. My favorite, nothing puts me in a more sentimental mood

@zzzzzzzzzz202 I think it is because he only wants to be sordid. that is a pity, huh? I agree with you zzzzzzzzzzz

@orannisthedestroyer : Please stop using the foul and blasphemous Americanism with initials O. M. G. for as a blasphemer thou shalt go down to Hell !
118 #2 is perhaps the most beautiful piece of music ever written

i can hear all the great pianists play the 118 No 2, but there is an organizing introspection, a love, a self-understanding that Kissin brings to this Verbier program. I frankly cherish it. I am forever grateful to have this clip on YouTube. Kissin gets it just right, I think. slow, yes, but he has nothing he needs to prove here by taking it faster. he lets it breathe, savoring the discoveries he makes and sharing them with intimacy and generosity. Yea, this just does it for me more each time.
