The Austin Bats

Every year during summer, the bats migrate from Mexico and come to roost here in Austin. Two million bats group together under the Congress Bridge. As the sun is setting, you can watch as they pour from under the bridge. Millions of them!!! As they fly away, they look they trails of smoke from a distance. We also have BatFest here every year as a way to celebrate the bats. More vids on that when it happens next. Angelica thinks the bats are cute. Wonder how long it'll be before she asks for one as a pet? lol

Oh pffffttt!!!! These bats don't attack people. Think of them as flying puppies. It really is an amazing thing to watch live. Ans since someone here is a brain massager (lol), then this same person shoul;d agree that it's healthy to face ones fears. lmao!!!

OH wow yes that is a gorgeous site by the looks of it to see glad Angelica thinks they are cute hope she never gets afraid of them. I am petrified of them LOL. I run for cover if I'm somewhere where they home and they start coming out.

Bats are a big thing here in Austin. Hardly anyone is scared of them because we have so many of them. Care for us to send you a couple of thousand of them? lol

Thanks kindly!! We here are batty for the bats. They don't attack people (that's only in monster movies) and they help keep the bug population way down. You should hear waht it's like to hear millions of bats chittering and chattering. lol
