I'm old enough to remember Cabooses, and I still miss them a little, even though they have gone over 20 years. But I always like vids best that have DPU Locos at the end. Those rear end DPU's take the place of Cabooses in my mind....:) :) :

I respectfully disagree, sir. The TRRA in St Louis utilizes several freshly rebuilt cabooses on its local runs. The WNY&P and B&P railroads in western New York and Pennsylvania use several cabooses as well for long shoving moves. CSX, BNSF, and UP also have many cabooses still in service. CSX has one painted in a B&O heritage scheme in service on one of their railtrains!

I realize there are exception but by in large most railroads have abandoned them entirely Thanks, I don't mind you disagreeing. I appreciate the comment
