These little red-rumped parrots were often around earlier in the season, feeding in small flocks on the grass 'In My Back Paddock'. They seem to be quite confident little birds and don't scare as easily as,say, the rosellas which are very jumpy or the yellow-tailed black cockatoos which are nervous in the extreme. The red-rumpers don't seem to mind too much mixing with some different bird species which might happen to be around, like the galahs or the maggies. -Apologies for the blurriness. I didn't push to take too much advantage of their good natures in order to get up really close!
