Influx of Homeless Shelters in Ocean Hill: No more! That's the message many Ocean Hill residents are sending to the city's Department of Homeless Services regarding a proposal to build yet another shelter in their neighborhood. In recent years, more than a dozen have been built in the working class neighborhood. The city now wants to add another one just a stone's throw from an elementary school on Herkimer Street.
