This is the second part of my climb to the summit of Wayna Picchu (Huayna Picchu), the mountain that is behind the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu in Peru.

Be sure to check out part one before you see this one.

This video starts after I have reached the summit of Wayna Picchu and start to follow a second trail that leads down to the Gran Caverna and the Temple of the Moon. Along the way I climb down old wooden ladders and steep rock faces. On the way back up start to run out of water and go slightly crazy dreaming about having a large Coke at the café.

  • LOl insane! i think not only would i sweat like a dog but my calves would cramp up, and possibly get altitude sickness? lol if i ever did it i think i would have some kind of harness/lanyard system, some of those areas are precipetously fatal. also the grand cavernas intruque me, these are pre-inca , as well the small cavern you crawled through is pre-inca as well you can see the smooth carved surface and possible vitrification inside...pre-inca.

    THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO!

  • i can recall so many moments like those lol glad you made it mate...
