Any neighbor who is not thinking about others or the surroundings is not a neighbor, is a bully. And is not about "I do what i want in my house" anymore because sound travels, and if someone else hears it, it crosses the "borderline". There should be legislation on this worldwide. I deal with those upstairs and am sick of it, even at 4 am moving furniture sometimes or slamming a door, how dumb, ignorant or criminal-minded can someone be!?

Yeah the people below me speak and laugh loud during the morning and like to hang pictures on there wall banging that damn hammer pisses me off but i get em back with my surround sound watching a movie i be having the ground shaking lol and i think they be cursing me out in creole

Oh yeah, continued, I think what you should do is ONE UP the neighbor, play your tv an hour or two before he/she does...loudly. See if he or she likes it!!

I have neighbors who like to talk loudly across from eachother and gossip about everyone who live in the neighborhood and you basically know who they are talking about...since it is a military community. I find it annoying when the kids scream outside at the top of their lungs really early in the morning when they are trying to catch the bus....just my vent, but what truly annoys me is hearing a domestic next door, calling the police and then they pretend to be asleep to avoid charges.

That sucks Johee, I have never had any problems with my neighbors ,been living here for 10 years, not one single complaint. Everyone is quiet here. Guess white people are the quiet types in their apartments here in NYC :)

I have the same problem too, my neighbors down the street from where I live must have down syndrome because they yell YAY! for no damn reason. The other neighbor across from them played their music like if it were an concert, neighbors next to them played with their kids (Thats what parks are for they should try it). Thats what I go through here lol
