yes, indeed, Daniel Schorr is a National treasure - the experience and breadth of knowledge that he brings to his commentary is just staggering. Of all working journalists today, he really probably has "been there, seen that!"

Yes, It's an IMB Selectric II. These are the greatest electric typewriter of all time!
It has a type ball that can be changes to other fonts, and there was a keyboard option for adding foreign letters and accent marks.
This writing machine even has a built-in printer!!!
