You need to watch/listen to more MC5/Zep mate if you think either took ideas from the other. You need to swat up on your rock and roll as well mate.

Both were great musicians. MC5 was very original and way ahead of their time. Most musicians are inspired by others, doesn't mean they straight up copy them. So I would agree that Plant didn't "get his ideas" from MC5. It does seem like he could have been influenced a bit by them, but they both were very much their own people.
