Amen, my friend. Keep speaking the truth.
And let us all remember, especially Christians who are quick to point out that homosexual activity is an "abomination": The bible also says that PRIDE is an abomination (Prov. 16:5). Heterosexual adultery and fornication are every bit as abominable to God. Let judgment begin at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17) so that we may be ambassadors of God's grace.

Same old bigotted talking points, accusing anyone who is against homosexual behavior of "hating gays." Spare me.
I hear most of the hate and intolerance coming from the homosexual agenda crowd.

You "progressives" keep repeating this same flawed argument. People of all sexual orientations ALREADY HAVE EQUAL ACCESS TO MARRIAGE.
It is not a question of equal access. It's a question of CHANGING THE DEFINITION of marriage.
And there is no sound argument for imposing a radical social experiment on society, in deference to the selfish demands of a small minority that is NOT SUFFERING DISCRIMINATION.

Since I still have the freedom to express my opinion (apparently, in contradiction to friendis' desire), there IS NO SUCH THING AS 'SAME-SEX' MARRIAGE. The very definition of marriage is a consensual and contractual union between a man and a woman. However, if you want to tamper with an institution that has been around as long as history has been recorded, be ready to see the law of unintended consequences in action.

This was a very honest assessment by Tony Perkins. As for those who are making negative remarks about Mr. Perkins and the FRC, you have every right to give your opinion. However, "friendis," your implication that you would limit the freedom of speech of men like Tony Perkins IS ALARMING! Where's the so-called "tolerance?" Or does that tolerance end when someone's principles don't line up with the liberal agenda?

"No one is more intolerant than a gay rights activist!" is an inaccurate, intolerant and bigoted statement. Does that mean that ALL civil rights, ecology, right to life, pro choice, and etc. activists are intolerant too? Or are you just prejudiced against Gay people?

No one is more intolerant than a gay rights activist!

Mr. Perkins' assertion that Congress is contemplating the legalization of human cloning is laughable. If it were true I and my clones would have the votes needed to make sure snide, elitist windbags like Tony here would NEVER be able to impose their fundamentalist, Christo-fascist agenda on our nation. I am a heterosexual man with a female wife with uncloned children to prove it. You don't represent us. In hijacking the idea of family for your reprehensible agenda you degrade the very word.
why arent they up in arms over theyr elected leader cheney having gay babies??

This pro family anti family claptrap is just that, claptrap. Perkins suggested only one thing that might benefit families and that is a review of taxes. Issues like better energy, health care, minimum wage, etc. will do far more to benefit families than what his rhetoric projects.
I don't know of anyone that is anti family. If fundamentalist and evangelists what to improve our culture they should set a better example and not try to legislate it.
