  • Great video! I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and in just one afternoon at work watching your videos I've been able to learn how to use Geektool like a pro on my new Macbook Air. My desktop is now officially pimped out thanks to you. One thing I've still been trying to figure out is how to incorporate Evernote into Geektools. Have you played around with this at all?

  • had to change the file name to geektool to get this to work, if anybody else is having a problem with it not working.. great video by the way!

  • Excellent tutorial.

Thanks for taking the time to do this, it helped me loads!

    Thumbs up.

  • @dandanny88 As a future reference, I would be more careful about posting my email publicly if I were you.

  • @dandanny88 Please please please, could you refrain from spamming this channel with this request?

  • this is such a good tutorial, it was incredibly easy to follow and ill for sure subscribe, thanks heaps.

  • @sportysinginchiq i'm sorry, then. i have no idea either... good luck!

  • @rryoshi i pasted: osascript /Users/ramanhk/Downloads/spitunes.scpt i followed everything but it still didnt work.

  • @sportysinginchiq what was the exact command that you pasted?

  • @rryoshi yeah i mean saving the file elsewhere but i names it spitunes. it still didnt show up. :(

  • @sportysinginchiq by export, do you mean you saved the scripts to another location? did you try saving the scripts to a location without spaces in the folder name? it didn't work for me either. my scripts were originally in a folder called "geektool itunes script" , but i renamed the folder to just "geektool" , and tried again. then it worked! hope that helps!

  • @CoolEnufForaMac noo its fine :) uhmm i'll try! maybe that'll work!

  • @sportysinginchiq By "exporting" do you mean saving the file to your computer? I apologize if that comes across as condescending, I genuinely don't understand what you mean. If that's the case, then I don't know what the problem could be. All you're doing is unzipping a document and relocating it from your downloads folder, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up. Try restarting your computer.

  • @CoolEnufForaMac i did everything up to 2:24 and then i tried exporting spitunes. it didnt work when i completed everything.

  • @sportysinginchiq I don't quite understand. What have you done so far?

  • hey! i had a question. spitunes isnt showing up ANYWHERE on my computer! and i tried exporting it... it doesnt work :/ what should i do?

  • @niekkisjess Thank you for telling me! I have re-uploaded the file so it should work now.

  • good tutorial, but i cant open the file
