This video won first place in the high school video short category. It symbolizes the necessary action that must immediately take place in order to preserve lifes greatest features. While the message is simple, it is vast and never more important. Our planet is in peril from our widespread and individual harm, creating footprints that may never be swept away. These growing scars harm our future, not only ecologically, but for the generations to come that will have to adapt to a harsh environment, being continually devastated by the actions of an ignorant past. Although we are not affected by our footprints now, the ones that follow in them will. Kari and Franklin are students at Manistee High School in Michigan, USA."
