not bad, quite different from original; did you ever try playing with original chords, strumming?

thanks! actually, i find it difficult to sing as subtle as does michael stipe or to play it like the original arrangement. it would be a worthwhile exercise to give it a try, tho. if i can pull it off i'll post it here. thx again for the comment and suggestion! ;-)

I like this. True, it doesn't sound exactly like the R.E.M. version, but what's the point of making a cover just to completely cover it - I mean, that's OK too, but this is a cool way of going about it. One of my favorite songs; I think you did nicely with it.
