During the months of May and June 2009, we had to bring a change to our recipe for paint. One of the ingredients was out of stock which forces us to turned to a replacement.
Unfortunately, this replacement product was not appropriate. The result was that on the weapon we use it the paint cracked and gradually slide off and did not stick to it.
This situation is very unfortunate because this unusual problem has escaped our quality control. We have since been rectified but some of you may have received weapons with the defect paint. It is estimated that about one hundred swords had this problem. Please note that these weapons are very safe but the appearance is sloppy.
That said, we have a commitment to quality and all weapons that have this defect will be replaced free of charge.
