Opportunistic Controls are a class of user interaction techniques for augmented reality (AR) applications that support gesturing on, and receiving feedback from, otherwise unused affordances already present in the domain environment. Opportunistic Controls (OCs) leverage characteristics of these affordances to provide passive haptics that ease gesture input, simplify gesture recognition, and provide tangible feedback to the user. 3D widgets are tightly coupled with affordances to provide visual feedback and hints about the functionality of the control. This video demonstrates three different OCs in action.
Are those Half-Life 2 sound effects and steam style menus lol? Extremely cool none-the-less

@leovsaeris Thanks! The application was built using the Valve Source Software Development Kit...Valve released the SDK (and makes some content available to developers) for thrid party MODs (which is what you see here). It's a great framework for making Augmented Reality apps.
