  • Yes, that is best/safest way to take off with a tail dragger. Keep in mind, this was the first ever flight for this airplane, and only partial power was used for this take-off. With full power, it hops off very fast into a very steep climb. It has the 912, which is way more power than it really needs.

  • great video, do u always do a 2 point take off ?  i hate that feeling of the tail moving up and down during the take off so i always do a 3 point take off. anyways like i said great video.
