One of my favourite remakes in Metroid: Zero Mission was Norfair. The song was literally transferred from an awkward beat to a fully majestic piece. Here's my rendition of it.

This was a really difficult piece to bring to life. A lot of instruments, and entire tracks simply did not translate well into the Logic environment. The piano that's featured from 0:24 in the original song simply sounded awful in Logic.

Even after all my work, I'm still not sure if I'm entirely satisfied with the mix. Then again, one of my friends thought this was my best song yet. I suppose your milage may vary.

This was made for the project "Metroid: Net Mission", which is a fangame. It's a 2D Metroid game, where you can select one of the many characters in the Metroid universe, and then battle it out with other players online. Currently, the physics engine is being worked on, and the game has a little while to go before being complete, but it's getting there.

They turned a hellish pit of lava into a peacefull wonderland. Im really thinking about remaking the multiplayer maps from MPH and put it on halo. the vid will have this on it thats for sure! outstanding work! :D

OMG, this version is EPIC!! it's one of my favorite songs in the series!

'bout time someone made a remix of the first norfair theme, it's always the ridley's lair theme from super metroid (which isn't bad, it's also on my favorites list, but it's just used a lot)

Hmm... It's got some nice buildup, but some of the notes sound really muted or just plain lost in the gagglefuck of sound. The whistling notes didn't really seem to fit in either. Overall it's a good remaster though.
