Thanks! Finally an alternate view of the Salton Sea. Check out the sunrises on the west shore. Equally spectacular.

120 degree summers? F-THAT!!!!!! And for what? A chunk of barren, dry, worthless wasteland? No thankyou, i'll stick to my Pacific NW climate. The Salton Sea is a good movie though!

that was really nice and i must of shot about a 500 photos and grabed about 30 min of footie just a few days ago it was my first time and it was everything you say except the water it was just really scary to see the color,smell and deadness of the water it kinda just made me feel like were screwed what can be done to change something like that.

We really enjoyed Salvation Mt, being there was an unforgetable experience, nice to see it again. Hope to vacation again on the north shore, peace....
