Renda Writer (He's Trying to Get on The Ellen Degneres Show) at The South Florida Poetry Showcase

Renda Writer performing "Watch It Grow" on 10/17/09 at The South Florida Poetry Showcase, sponsored by WeMerge Magazine and The Underground Poets Society, at Grace Cafe & Gallery in Dania Beach.

"Watch It Grow" was written as a sequel to another one of Renda Writer's original poems, "Planting Seeds," and is about the feelings of elation and accomplishment that come with reach your life's goals and using each bit of success to propel yourself forward to set and reach new goals.

Since 2007 Renda Writer has been pursuing his biggest goal yet, which is to perform one of his original poems on The Ellen Degeneres Show. Ideally, he would like to perform his poem, "Half Hearted," on the 2010 Valentine's Day edition of the show, as it is a very fitting topic for the theme of the holidy.
