Vicky's video (cell phone) of me at Gruenwald Press practicing LHBF for Master Liping Zhu's and fellow student critique. Zhu Laoshi is to be found at www.qidragon.com and you can view her calendar there. I'm just a beginner struggling along and very grateful for our group's generous attunement along the developmental pathway of this practice. This is not my best or worst effort. I notice that my thoracic tightness prevents full freedom of movement at waist. I notice that this then prevents me from taking longer strides and deeper Kidney channel movements. We still have a ways to go to learn the sequence of Part I of the practice, and the practice is already rewarding me with a lot of energy, stability, and balance. Students of Master Yun or our own class with Liping Zhu please comment constructively. My gratitude and respect to anyone like Liping Zhu who has mastered this technique and further who has the courage to teach it. It is so continuous in its nature that breaking it down into a set of postures is quite difficult and perhaps even inappropriate as a learning tool. Liping manages to helpfully demonstrate brief sequences.
