Traditional, to old school to modern to urban bachata has evolved.. Ataca y la alemana are great!!! PUNTO!! Its reasons why in DR THEY ACTUALLY TRIED TO RE ACT THE TE XTRANO PERFORMANCE and they FAILED!! So cmon stop labeliing bachata to dance it one way it was born in DR AND I AS A DOMINICAN AM PROUD TO SEE WHERE BACHATA HAS GONE!!!

@emica108 Most of it is probably improv, BUT and thats a huge but, since they're a couple they dance together all the time so she can pretty much tell exactly what all his leads mean and what kind of footwork he likes to do. ya know what i mean?

You may be right, The Dominican dancing style have less figures or maneuvers in it. (Dominicans use more small kicks and less turns) is that the styles difference? That is what we noticed years ago in our dancing lessons in PA.
Both styles are nice, but with these Fancy Turns Jorge Style it looks more fancy but difficult.
Dominicans don't like those "crazy turns" I saw on a Dominican Style video here on youtube. Both styles are nice.
