Perez Hilton asks Miss California what she thinks about legalizing gay marriage and she definitely does not give the politically correct answer.

There are DEFINITELY a lot of boos coming from the crowd followed by mixed applause, though it's hard to hear the boos in the recording.

This recording is owned by NBC.

  • how the heck are male and female opposite?? we're all the same species...

  • @CunningLinguist415 Its sounds like my last trip to Walmart.

  • @clubindiana4 Obviously you've never been to gay pride in SF if you're comparing it with your average bar on Saturday night. I suggest you google pictures of it and you'll have a better idea of what we're talking about here.

Men dressed in leather whipping each other in the streets, drunk guys in speedos playing twister, guys walking each other on leashes, some of the meanest looking women you've ever seen, etc etc.

I'm not hating, just calling it like I see it. But not everyone is like that.

  • She was sorta asking to not win. It's like going to a bar mitzva and talking about the holocaust.

  • People have the right to their own opinion. But some of the time your opinion should be kept quiet because of what might offend some people. She was very brave to say what she did because she knew that she would be scrutinized for her answer. She knew she might now win and she knew that she would be going against the grain. Because of her spunk, not because of the answer she gave I applaud her. She is a strong woman who knows how to stand up for what she believes in. You go girl!

  • @CunningLinguist415 "and many people resent that"

I agree....it must be very challenging for these people to watch a Gay Pride with revulsion, and disgust...and then have to face their own bigotry and realize that the entire concept of Pride Parades is based on the drunken heterosexual fuck-fest that is an honored part of the history of New Orleans.

"And the outfits, drunks, public displays of affection are over the top."

Kinda like any straight bar on a Sat. night, right?

  • @lisztnut Honesty I think the parade does more harm than good, as most people there make a pretty poor showing of themselves - and yes that includes a lot of young straight people.

But when you're in a demographic striving for mainstream acceptance, which is what people watching the news see, many people come off as freakish and flamboyant, and many people resent that And the outfits, drunks, public displays of affection are over the top.

So no I don't stew, just think it's counterproductive.

  • @lisztnut So how about all of the women you claimed to have sex with? Surely other "gay" men are experimenting just as you were. Would you want to have a baby with a woman if you accidentally got her pregnant. Sounds like a perfect time for a cut and run.

What about bisexual men, do they abandon children?

Furthermore what makes you think gay people don't ever have sex with the opposite sex? Many people are still "discovering" their sexuality, yes?
