meeting of Nazi officials on January 20, 1942, in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee to plan the final solution (Endlösung) to the so-called Jewish question (Judenfrage). On July 31, 1941, Nazi leader Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring had issued orders to Reinhard Heydrich, SS (Nazi paramilitary corps) leader and Gestapo (Secret Police) chief, to prepare a comprehensive plan for this final solution. The Wannsee Conference, held six months later, was attended by 15 Nazi senior bureaucrats led by Heydrich and including Adolf Eichmann, chief of Jewish affairs for the Reich Central Security

anyone and everyone who believes "there must be something wrong with German people" really should read about Japanese war crimes...Cambodian war crimes...Soviet war crimes...and also a movement called "The Wave". yes, Germany had an ancient history of anti-Semitism, but that wasn't THE reason behind the Holocaust. it was human error, human cruelty--not cultural.

It's hard to fathom that a world war is occuring and they put so much emphysis on murdering Jews.

@LenBrennan .i agree completely i've watched both films several times and this older production has a more documentry feel to it even though they are acting. also having a all German cast adds alot to the "reality" angle..watching well known British actors portray these people takes away some of the impact for me(the actor playing Heydrich is physically somewhat similar to him unlike Ken Branagh) and little things like the small talk and Heydrich being human and tripping over a briefcase

Germany must have gone insane to even contemplate this.

Thanks for uploading this with English Subs. Conspiracy was an excellent film, but this one is less melodramatic, & rings more true - an excellent film. Doesn't seem to be available on DVD anywhere in the UK, which is a real shame.
