This is one of my favorite bands La Dispute
from Somewhere At The Bottom Of The River Between Vega And Altair
http://www.myspace.com/ladispute

Lyrics:
I think I saw you in my sleep, darling, I think I saw you in my dreams you were
stitching up the seams on every broken promise that your body couldn't keep.
I think I saw you in my sleep.
I thought I heard the door open, oh no. I though I heard the door open,
but I only heard it close.
I thought I heard a plane crashing, but now I think it was your passion snapping
I think you saw me confronting my fear,
it went up with the bottle and went down with the beer and
I think you ought to stay away from here. There are ghosts in the walls and they
crawl in your head through your ear.
I think I saw you in my sleep, lover, I think I saw you in my dreams you were
stitching up the seams on every mangled promise that you body couldn't keep.
I think I saw you in my sleep.

  • This never gets old.

  • @LittleLoneFishie this song doesnt elicit any ladylike feelings from my body

it kust makes my peepee hard

  • @b3sam3 I believe its referred to as a Lady Boner.

  • fucking awful noise

  • This is by far the most emotional song I've ever heard.

  • the lyrics are great but this kids tone deaf

  • @Smallvillee777 That's the first half :)

The way I see it, it's about someone wanting to make things better with an old lover (Nobody, Not Even The Rain) but the lover doesn't think it can work (Such Small Hands).

Plus it's the last line of a E.E. Cummings poem, it says "Nobody, not even the rain has such small hands."

  • @candygirl0406 No. The second half is called "Nobody, Not Even The Rain".
