Many skaters experience the problem of seized bearings due to rust. In this video I used a sonic cleaner to unseize my bearings. This is the same type of device shops use to clean jewellery and glasses.

It makes use of cavitation to shatter foreign objects on surfaces

In this part, the cleaning is done. You might have to force turn the bearings abit before it can spin freely

Note that the cleaning time may increase if there is alot of rust

ALWAYS USE WATER FOR CLEANING WHEN USING AN ULTRASONIC CLEANER. :/

Acetone and alcohol will explode in a USC.

Water and soap is good, water and Simple Green is great, water and US cleaning solution is best; alcohol or anything that can catch fire is BAD!

  • @roseygonnaeatyou its probably rubbing alcohol or acetone. NEVER USE WATER FOR CLEANING

  • is that just water in the tray or something stupid that odds are i wont have?
