Apple's iPhone in India

Apple's iphone is not available in India, but that does not mean people not have access to them. A small number of people have access to iPhone and in this video clip you will meet Sidharth Mehta, who knows everything about iPhone.

In Decemeber 2007 Sidharth gave a demo of what all you do do with an iPhone at the MoMo Bangalore's Mobile Demo event. The event was meant to feature mobile startups, and it did. But, what clearly caught people's attention was Sidharth's demo of his iPhone or the "God Phone."

i have a relative in india that i sent an unlocked iphone with baseband 6.15 unlocked with ultrasnow 1.2, fw 4.1 (last week's new release). We've disabled 3G, call waiting and automatic time sync, but it keeps on dropping the network after about 1 minute into a call.

Anyone having the same problem? Tried spice, airtel and cellone sim cards, all do the same thing, for incoming and outgoing.

any help isi greatly appreciated.
