MANCHESTER, N.H.―Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta, a candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's first district, gave local residents ― his future constituents ― a chance to vent their frustrations on health care legislation pending before Congress as the same allegedly representative body worked against the Will of the People to pass a bill that would give government unconstitutional control over one of the largest and most beneficial industries in America.

"People's greatest concerns in this health care debate are about government control, about increased taxes and about interruption of personal lives," Guinta said.

Guinta, who held a "Town Hall" forum at Manchester City Hall this morning, will be running against Democrat Carol Shea-Porter, who has done everything in her power to thwart the Will of the People, particularly regarding the health care and Cap & Trade bills, which President Barack Obama has been pushing through Congress, that combined would severely deteriorate the U.S. economy when we can afford it least. Shea-Porter thinks she knows better than her constituents and either talks down to them or avoids them whenever she is in public.

Guinta, on the other hand, understands the duty of a representative to serve the people, and makes that abundantly clear whenever he is in public. He also understands common sense policy and legislation and the proper role of government. I am officially endorsing Frank Guinta as my preferred candidate for Congress in this article.
