I've always wanted my George School Robotics students to program their robots to dance. The programming part we can handle, but computer programmers aren't known for their moves on the dance floor, if you know what I mean. So, I've asked Barb Kibler and her Advanced Dance students to come to the lab and help us choreograph a little robot dance number.
This video shows some of the dance moves that a few of my students came up with so Barb's students would have some idea what the robots were capable of doing. Thanks to Ludovic Goncalves, Wilson Sui, Chris Kerr, Dan Homier, Chris Berends, Eric Englehardt, Chun Wang, and the entire Arrangement 4 class for contributing to this video.
Please note that the robots are not calibrated for smooth, coordinated motion. Again, these clips are to offer a general idea of the robots' range of motion.
Robodyssey Systems manufactures the Mouse robot and RAMB II motherboard you see here. The robot's brain is NetMedia's BX-24 microcontroller, which is programmed using the BasicX language. I am the author of the world's only BasicX textbook; if you are interested in learning how to program your own robot, see my website at www.basicxandrobotics.com.

@15bennysd
Sorry to disappoint, but the dance is actually entitled, "La Cucaracha". Listen, I have at best a tenuous command of my native English, let alone Spanish, but there is no need to be rude and banal. Please be more considerate in the future. Thanks!
