@themightyboush Not only that, but I liked how they built the tension as Medusa got closer to Perseus.

THe only thing I liked about the medusa in the remake is how she was more snakelike, as she moved up and down the columns. Aside from that, the remake was crap. Yes, I do realize that it made millions of dollars, and it introduced a new generation to the movie, but it lacked the soul that the original had. Besides, it took too many liberties with the original story. (I know this one did too, but the story in the remake is unrecognizable.)

medusa of '81 is waaaaaay scarier. Her daughter is 2 hot, not scary at all :p

I agree this one is better than the new version medusa is supposed to be creepy not pretty shes so creepy in this one shes so stupid in the new one. Classics are 1000000 times better than the seaquels.
