Thank you so much for posting this. I had read about how the Memphis Blues Brass Band staged an old religious revival during their 1983 show and so it was great to finally see what it looked like!!

What surprised me the most was how good it felt to again hear the PA announcer saying "On the field from Memphis, TN, the Memphis Blues Brass Band". Those grueling 12 hour rehearsal days were made tolerable dreaming of how exciting it would be once we got on tour and would finally hear our corps being introduced on the PA "On the field, from Memphis, TN............" The strong emotions conjured by just that field introduction were unexpected...... but welcomed.

I am glad to finally see video proof of the 1983 MB3. We were better than I expected but not as good as we dreamed. We existed. Imagine what we could have done with a full corp and experienced members.
