Alonso could've gone even faster if his balls weren't so huge and heavy.

This is a GREAT move hands down. 130R is extremely dangerous and difficult to overtake, even more on the outside. Thats one of the best overtaking moves ever and if you say the opposite you dont have a clue about the sport

That year Ferrari's car was shit. They could barely finish races. This footage shouldn't give an accurate idea about these drivers.

@kielchamp Not just a Bridgestone shod F2005, but one heavier on fuel and on a wet set up! It took 6 laps to pass him, which is a credit to MS more than FA. As I said, yes it was brave, but more brave than good. That could have been an airplane crash. That was Sato-ish. In fact it is MS who should take the credit for allowing that desperate manoeuvre to succeed, if he tried that on Hamilton I shudder to think.

@tubehows4life When you get your head out of your arse and realise that 130R is a 150MPH plus corner and realise that Alonso went around the OUTSIDE of schumi at a corner that will always be single file.

Yh the car F2005 was shocking but it takes a man to pull that one off

Great move but lets not forget that the F2005 was a pretty pathetic car. but undoubtably a fantastic move which shows what a great driver Fernando is. Yeah I'm a Schumi fan.

The move looked spectacular but wasnt that good

1) F2005 vs R25, nuff said

2) MS' F2005 was on a wet setup in the dry, R25 was not

3) FA was 4 laps of fuel lighter than MS

4) When FA had a slipstream, and as MS went to the inside to defend, FA had the racing line so MS had to lift off or he wouldnt have made the corner at that angle

5) What is spectacular was that MS held him off for as long as he did (6 laps)!

The overtake was more brave than good, it could have ended in a collision

I think schumacher stayed on the right place. It's difficult to overtake in 130R because if you're going by the outside the car just goes out. Keeping the position on the outside is very difficult and Alonso did it pretty good. Of course Alonso's car was faster, but that doesn't mean he will overtake easily a 7 times Wolrd Champion.
