UPDATE: It's official... APOLO ANTON OHNO HAS BECOME THE NEW 2008 WORLD CHAMPION! Truly a global King of the Ice --- GO APOLO, GO USA!

Normally, the Koreans dominate this title but this year Apolo would have none of it as he reclaimed the throne and placed the USA on top --- snatching the World Champion title!

Apolo's individual wins:
500m Finals (Gold Medal)
1,000m Finals (Silver Medal)
3,000m super Final (Bronze Medal)

World Championships (March 7-9), South Korea, Short Track Speedskating season-ender showdown against top international contenders. As Apolo raced among some newer world class athletes & other notably worthy opponents - the competitions were filled with tension, excitement & an overwhelming eagerness to become the next 2008 World Champion. USA FTW!
