What tone do you use when tracking? Do you set your guitar in the center or do you split it into stereo or what? Is the tracking tone even important to you? Could you put up a video of your ideal tracking tone if it is? ALso I want a bicycle..... and a firetruck ....

hey, does anybody know how to play AD using computer keyboard in FL Studio?
-
Needs more cowbell.

how do i get the preset into AD?

I'm a total newb to this kind of thing. I'm not really interested in creating and recording songs on my computer at this time. All I want to do is create some realistic drum beats to play my guitar riffs along with. Is there a way to use this and play it through a powered monitor or something so I can play through my regular guitar amp and just jam on some riffs? Thanks.

I can't get addictive drums to show up in Cubase or Mixcraft, they just don't show up to load, do you have any suggestions?

@TechcoreIsSexy its not a bad sound it's just very recognizable as an AD sample.

I love addictive drums but the snares give them away so easily :/

@idreamtofflight I agree, I think the snares are it's weak point. For metal anyway. I like AD's overheads though, to me they sound most natural. The kick (starclassic) is strange, it sounds nasty stock, like hopelessly bad, but can be great after EQ. When I do a pre/post EQ comparison on Superior's kicks I can still tell it's Superior but with AD it can sound like a different drum, so it's great for shaping. I'm liking a hybrid of AD's kick and overheads with S2.0's snares, toms and room mics.

There must have been some sort of post processing going on here? Mastering of the whole track at least? Preset didn't sound this way when I tried in my DAW, but it still sounded pretty damn good and I only tweaked the kick a little bit. I suck at making metal presets, especially with AD (which isn't all that awesome for metal imho) ... anyways, thanks a lot (: Gathering, creating and sharing awesome stuff for home recording makes you hell of a human being.

@iSometimesWriteMusic Hey, the only post processing was on the overall mix and it was the usual low and high shelf boosts. I do my high boosts at around 13khz, I can get pretty aggressive and it doesn't do much other than add air, which is all I want. The mix retains it's weight, so I don't have to compensate with a huge low shelf boost.
