I found Phun through YouTube, so to return the favor, here's a video of an RG machine I made in Phun. The input and output? A smiling and shocked emoticon respectively, what better?

The outtakes exist as, mentioned in the video, Phun doesn't simulate everything with 100% accuracy, and I imagine some of the reasons for this might be an unaccurate undo (since each record was done by undoing the simulation and then restarting it, rather than re-loading the saved file altogether) or external processer usage causing slight timing errors. Whatever the internal reasons are, it's clear that while such errors don't affect your typical Phun scene, they get magnified to extremeties here in lots of different ways.

Those with a keen eye might notice that I actually cheated and patched together the through run from two different shots - the one run that actually worked all the way through occured when I wasn't paying attention so I didn't get to move the camera around. It's definitely legit, though. You can download the Phun scene file here: http://tinyurl.com/6jrxhv - obviously, you may have to try several times to get it to work properly.

I deliberately made several elements of the scene multi-purpose - I just like to challenge myself to do that kind of thing. Firstly, three of the ramps are used twice each by different objects, and one of those is travelled along upwards once. Secondly, the giant red domino is used by the ball that drops from the cyan ramp to bounce off of. Thirdly, the green lever which pushes up the ball by the pink blocks is reused as another ramp after it latches on the lower latch, and finally, said latch also functions as a lever to push out the weight which sets the last ball rolling.

Music credits are at the end of the video. Have fun with Phun, everyone!
