  • Thanks for another blog. I see this post is focused on granite (or other stone) countertops as being a 'gotta have it' upgrade for a number of reasons. Would you say stainless steel appliances, or atleast matching ones, fit into that same category, or are less important to capturing the broadest buyer audience and getting higher offers?

  • Hey Sacksem, I would say that Granite is higher on the list and stainless steel is on a case by case basis. But I do know a condo that I was competing with had a white fridge and all the rest was stainless steel. It stuck out like a soar thumb. Mixmatch is horrible. They won't be able to focus on the condo.

Try selling your appliances on craigslist or donating them.

  • I'd say the same about flooring...but even more important. Ever try to sell a home with green or red carpet? Not fun.

  • Use the coupon! 4:30

  • Nice shades. Happy Valentines day granite and carrie!
