"I love this song; I like the song "Blue Ridge Mountains," by Townes Van Zandt even better. I've played the Townes song for several years now at the Townes Van Zandt Annual Wake in Galveston, Texas, at Wrecks Bell's place, The Old Quarter. Hearing this song and also discovering that Clarence Ashley and Doc Watson did a version of it in the '60's is astounding; discovering that there is no discussion to be found anywhere about the connection between the two songs is mindblowing."

when you listen to all the other postings they dont have that authentic sound of the Carters. Great song. Pete 'Kiwi' Keegan, a veteran american country and blues performer does many Carter family songs and is a great fan. ( check his website on google)
