Whitney sounds great compared to how Mariah sounds live. Mariah is horrible live, she has no power and can only hit high notes. She can't even sing out of her chest voice live. Whitney still has power and range, Mariah does compare to Whitney. Mariah should be ashamed that she didn't take care of her voice. Whitney smoked and did drugs for nearly 15 years and still sounds better than Mariah

@Lindow She's barely singing here. Her confidence ebbs and flows meaning that hitting and sustaining notes is inconsistent. Nobody did her any favours by dragging her out on tour when she wasn't ready. Same happened to Amy Winehouse. And Britney Spears recently so I understand. Britney is an exception though because her performance never delivered live.

This just proves it: this was the beginning of her tour when she did not have to do three concerst in four days in three different cities. When she gets enough rest she is still one of the best singers out there. It was the gruelling schedule of her tour that did her in.
