Chrysler 42LE transmission typically can't handle a whole lot. The LH platform 300M Special 3.5L was slated to have 300hp but they couldn't rely on the transmission. They took it back down to 255hp.

The 2006.5 3.5L Magnums have the Merc W5A580 5sp transmissions. That'd be the setup to supercharge.
